I started running in high school and realized I enjoyed running sports better than group sports like soccer. Running was something that I could work at and keep getting better. In high school my best cross country race(5k) was 28 minutes after years of working at it. Now my best is in the 24 minute range and I'm always striving to get better and faster. 
Post high school, I ran on my own time but I would find a need to carry my music, phone, (yeah I keep them seperate) and my keys, sometimes even a debit card and ID. Then I found Armpocket as the only storage that wouldn't move around while being active, big enough to carry all these things, and comfy because this actually has nice padding. 
I have since tried longer running distances, Sprint and Olympic distance  triathlons, and recently completed my first full marathon. 
Besides Running, and triathlon training I enjoy water sports, boating with my husband, and hiking the tropical jungles of Panama where some of my family is from. 
I am active because I enjoy it, and to healthy. But that hasn't always been easy. After my marathon I lost will and motivate to be active in general. This has been a difficult struggle but I find that challenging myself motivates me as I am finally getting back to my happy running place and look forward to whatever race or challenge that come my way.
