Armpocket is proud to sponsor Ultramarathoner, Dennis Koors while he takes part in one of the most challenging Ultra-Marathons known to man, the Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB). In addition to sponsoring Dennis, we are also helping support Soutien Orphenlinat Pagala. The money raised will help fund advances in agriculture, infrastructure, and healthcare for the orphans and sick of Pagala.

Dennis Koors

Dennis is an untramarathon runner who has previously attended the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc. This September Dennis will take part in UTMB for the fourth time.

Soutien Orphelinat Pagala

This small, 100% voluntary association was created at the foot of Mont-Blanc. Their principal financial support is the UTMB for which their doctor and other members have worked for many years.

Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc

The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (also referred to as UTMB) is a single-stage mountain ultramarathon. It takes place once a year last weekend in August or first weekend of September in the Alps, and follows the route of the Tour du Mont Blanc through France, Italy and Switzerland. It has a distance of approximately 166 kilometres (103 mi), and a total elevation gain of around 9,600 m. It is widely regarded as one of the most difficult foot races in Europe, and one of the largest with over two thousand starters. The combined participation in all of the events over the week is approaching 10 thousand runners.
