Armpocket worked with the American Institute for Cancer Research to help sponsor TeamAICR with an in-kind donation of Armpocket armbands. Each fundraiser on the team received an Armpocket with an additional bundle of armbands for giveaway purposes.

American Institute for Cancer Research

The American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) is a large American cancer research organization associated with the World Cancer Research Fund umbrella organization.

Its stated mission is:

• to fund research on the relationship of nutrition, physical activity and weight management to cancer risk
• to interpret the accumulated scientific literature in the field
• to educate people about choices they can make to reduce their chances of developing cancer

TeamAICR

TeamAICR members come from all over the country, and from all walks of life, but they all have one thing in common: a deep commitment to ending cancer. Many of the members have personally been affected by cancer and it has made a lasting impact on their lives.
